“Tom, your lunch is finished dear”,
“Here you go”,
As he was racing to school, in the corner of his eye, he saw the Mount Estonia, he always wanted to know what was in the great mountain, but he wasn't ever allowed to go close to it, he knew something was behind this. All the children were not allowed to go near the mountain. There were tales of what was in the range, but he ignored them. He told his friends about the it, he told his friends to meet at the foot of the beast & then explore. Tom & his friends didn’t know what trap lies in front of them.
Have you ever thought of stepping on the moon and leaving your footprints permanently on the Lunar dust? Well, if you would like to, you are lucky, because there is a great role model for you, and his name is James Benson Irwin .Read on to find out more about this mind blowing man’s remarkable life.
Did you know that this extraordinary life began on march 17th , 1930 in a town called Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh (although originally his parents came from Northern Ireland.)
He wanted to be an astronaut since he was a kid, but when he told his neighbours they all laughed, and when he told his parents his mom said “forget it, you will never complete your goal,”. Tis great man’s school was Charter Elementary School.
Surprisingly this man was chosen in the NASA astronaut training on 1966 at the age of 36 years old. When he went to university he was already quite famous ,he was a famous student in the Central Michigan University
His greatest achievement was going to the moon (he was the 8th man on the moon.) In the year 1971 July 27th he went on the Apollo 11 to go to the moon and stayed there till August 7th. He successfully had a safe landing!
Sadly he passed away by a heart attack in 1991 at the age of 61. I think if he was still alive he would make lots more achievements for mankind!
As I walked along the sidewalk ,people were letting out their sadness ( they were sobbing), but suddenly Dia de los Muertos- Day of the dead- became vivacious. I felt very perky and I spotted a lot of people dancing gorgeously around. At that time I felt extremely jubilant. The ladies who were dancing wore a white, long dress, it was as if they were very joyful ghost that appeared from nowhere that was making people mirthful.
Suddenly a fantastic smell went right into my nose, I followed it and it turned out as a fantastic feast and there were tacos, nachos and burritos, some of the food looked very hideous looking but when it touch my tongue it tasted delicious. But without warning, the music, the lights and everything else was gone.
